whydev.org offers you the opportunity to contribute and share your knowledge, ideas, solutions and opinions on topics across international development. This can be as a post, podcast, or video entry. Feature article: explores and examines a particular event, topic or issue in international development.
Opinion: features your point of view on any particular event, topic or issue.
Debate: engage another author, friend, colleague or the readers in a debate about a certain issue or topic.
From the Field: reflects on your experience working, volunteering or interning in any sector of development. It can offer advise for students and graduates about the realities of working in development or present an ‘on the ground’ picture of what can be expected.
Satire: Every one needs a good dose of satire. Have some fun.
Essay: is an academic short paper, which critically examines any particular theory, policy or topic in international development. Formal references are required.
Campaign: highlights and promotes an advocacy campaign that you are currently involved in or aware of. Video, audio or other material can be embedded in a campaign article.
