If you have worked in international development, you have probably experienced isolation, stress and anxiety. Field-based staff may be the only person at their level in their local office, or an expat staff member separated from their local staff counterparts by cultural, language, and organisational barriers. That’s where peer coaching comes in.
After conducting a successful pilot peer support program for aid workers in 2012, we are currently designing a range of innovative services that will support the well being, professional development and learning of student, practitioners and aid workers.
